Had my fair share of too many drinks here while doing blocks at NBCC. Great atmosphere, great staff, great times. Should be visited by anyone in the area looking for some good clean fun.

  3. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and service. You and your staff went above and beyond or wildest expectations. We had an amazing time in your establishment. I will definatly be passing on the name of The Red Herring Pub when anybody is looking for great food and service. You did an amazing job and helped to make our annual trip a huge success. Thank you so very much

Looking for somewhere to have my wedding reception. Looking to host 50 to 60 people and want to dj our own music. We are planning to have our wedding on Canada day next summer. We are hoping to find a venue near the wharf or within view of the fireworks. Is your pub very busy on Canada day? Do you do private parties?

    • Kevin Simmonds says:

I am sorry Shannon that our venue would not be able to accommodate you. We have around 10k people in Saint Andrews on Canada Day and next year it will fall on a Friday. The local Legion in town may be able to help or even the local Heather Curling Club as they host parties. There will be no venues that I can think of that can take those numbers on that day.

I hope the Legion or the Curling Club can help you.

      Thanks for the inquiry.

We dropped by to have lunch at The Red Herring as it was recommended to us. What a fabulous spot. Staff is wonderful. Special callout to our waitress Emma, who made us feel so welcome instead of leaving after lunch we stayed until early evening. Kevin was great as well…We will definitely be back, the best fish and chips we’ve ever had!!!
